Developing and supplying world leading software products requires a world leading development team. It was through targeting the employment of graduates from a range of courses, and training them to become professional developers, that Dr Lindsay Wood, Sciencesoft’s Director of Research and Development built such a team at Sciencesoft. From a standing start the team has grown year-on-year and in the process developed and launched four brand new products into the global oil and gas industry. Now, after ten years of continuous product development, the Sciencesoft team is rightly regarded as one of the best in the world.

As well as developing and supporting its existing products, the Sciencesoft development team is currently working on new products and the professionals developing these products are all graduates.

Due to the technical nature of Sciencesoft’s product range, the company needs to employ high quality graduates - with qualifications in a range of scientific disciplines to develop its product line. Currently the Sciencesoft development team has PhD’s or MSc’s in; Physics, Astronomy, Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. The need for new graduate employment and for programmers with experience is accelerating at Sciencesoft with the company currently planning to double its development team in the next two years.
